Studied Geology at the University of Madrid. Ph.D. on Geology and Lecturer of Physical Geography in Madrid University. Subdirector of the University College in Teruel. Currently, Full Professor of Geomorphology (Zaragoza University). Postgraduate courses on Desert Geomorphology, University of Sao Paulo USP, Brasil and University of San Juan, Argentina. President of the Spanish Society of Geomorphology (1987-90). Closing lecture in the Symposium on Climatic Fluctuations during the Quaternary in the Western Mediterranean Regions. Madrid, 1986. Organizer of the 1st Meeting in Geomorphology. Teruel, 1990. Academic of the Real Academia de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas, Químicas y Naturales of Zaragoza. Member of IAG Executive Committe (2001-2005). Organizer of the Sixth International Conference on Geomorphology (September, 2005). Research activity comes out with more than 225 publications.
